“Prescription without diagnosis is malpractice”, we believe that a proper diagnosis is the best first step to repairing any problem.

The way some technicians solve these complex vehicle issues is to read a code and start replacing parts until the problem is resolved. This can get very expensive very quickly. The vehicle owner is frustrated after wasting time and money, and sometimes the vehicle is still not fixed.

When the problem is properly diagnosed the first time with no guesswork, the customer avoids much frustration. We charge a single diagnostic fee that we know is a great investment and pays for itself immediately by avoiding unnecessary labor and replacement of parts.

Our Guarantee:

  • The customer doesn’t pay us until we complete a thorough diagnosis and give a recommendation for repair. If for some reason we cannot come up with a diagnosis for the issue, the customer will not be charged.
  • If the initial diagnosis is incorrect (rare, but we are all human), either we will perform the diagnosis again FOR FREE or the customers money will be refunded. Customers choice. Lost labor time and parts costs due to an incorrect diagnosis are NOT covered by this Guarantee.
  • If the recommended repair is completed by Grounded Automotive, we guarantee the repair for 30 days.
  • If the recommended repair is completed by the vehicle owner or a third party, Grounded Automotive cannot be held responsible for an improper repair. If a problem still exists after the recommended repair is complete, we will gladly take another look at the vehicle For FREE. However, if we find that the repair was completed improperly, or that the replacement part is defective, a separate diagnostic charge will apply.
